The today¡¯s woman is an online magazinethat deals with a wide range of topics concerning women. It is a forum that allows women to air their views as well as learn thingabout things they didn¡¯t know about themselves. The aim of the magazine is not just to entertain but to reach women from all nationalities and backgrounds. We don¡¯t just feature stereotypical women but would like to be more multicultural by having women from all walks of life to either speak their views or showcase their beauty. Exclusion of certain features from the fashion industry has lead to many problems in the way women feel about themselves. We are aware that women face challenges in today¡¯s society and hope to provide a way them to be able to cope or be more knowledgeable as they make day to day choices about their lives. |
Slavery is not something that can be described as historical. It is still here but has taken a whole new shape. It is just that people are not really aware of it. Many parks are playgrounds by day and brothels at night. Prostitution is a very big industry and generates millions of dollars. This is what has lead to trafficking of women from poor countries to wealthy ones for the purpose of being used as sex slaves. The women are seldom seen as people but commodities that are passed on from one place to another. They are lured by the promise of a job and a better life. The reality is abuse. They are trapped by being told they owe a debt for citizenship in a better country and are often drugged and isolated from any means of getting help. Thats why its` not easy for people them in an everyday setting. They are often hidden. The police are trying many things to stop this. As a woman try to be careful about jobs that only require women and need you to travel far. Young women who run away from home are also at risk. |

Life on the streets is not as promising as it sounds. When women make money on the streets, it`s often spent on drugs. It`s not a worthwhile lifestyle and girls ought to think twice about it before they follow this destructive path. |
